Chinese Evergreen

This tropical plant looks like a piece of art with rich colors, blooms in certain spots, and silver patterned leaves. They have very discreet flowers that grow only for leaves.
Chinese Evergreen or Aglaonema is native to New guinea and Asia and can grow as tall as 3 feet. The plant enjoys moderate watering, water-soluble fertilizer once or twice yearly, peat based and pertile soil, warm temperature and little humidity. The flowers are like spadix surrounded by spathe usually of green color. The plant not only provides beauty to the room, but also helps in air purification, thus, making it a desirable indoor plant.
