Basil Plant [Ocimum Basilicum]

It’s been grown in India for the last 5000 years. It symbolizes for happiness, prosperity, longevity, and good luck and grows in every season, if taken care of properly.
Basil trees have big impact in indoor spaces. It purifies the air around you. It brings happiness, harmony and is a cure for many seasonal and common diseases including cold. It should not be kept in the South-east direction of the house, as it is considered as the direction of fire. It should
be kept properly and dry basil is not considered as auspicious but dried leaves have been used as mosquito repellants for centuries. Basil leaves are used to add flavor to dishes in many cuisines.
